Winter Safety Tip - Your Windshield

Winter safety tip!

Applying a water
repellant coating to your windshield works wonders in all sorts of
weather conditions. One great thing about these applicants is that ice
does not stick to the windshield when you're out there in the morning
clearing snow and scraping the windows on your car. So for the few
dollars spent on getting this done, here's what you get:

- Rain water / road spray beads up and blows away when usually travelling over 40 km/h
- Reduced need for using wipers (blades and motor will last longer)
- Easier to scrape your windshield clear after a snow/ice storm

The brands that are most popular for this are Rain-X or Aquapel... We
use Aquapel here at Colony since it last longer and is used by the
Canadian Army.

Happy and safe motoring during the holidays!
