Fords in Film

The amount of Fords shown on the big screen never seems to stop growing. Sometimes the "star cars" don't get the recognition that they should as compared to other movies. We all know of Nicolas Cage's "Eleanor" in Gone in 60 Seconds, or Steve McQueen's classic Mustang chase in Bullitt. But what about the Fords that didn't get the recognition they deserve? Over the next few weeks, I will be highlighting a few must-see films that use Ford cars as the Hero Vehicle!

Watch this clip of what happened to the "Fastback Mustang" in the movie Death Race:

The main car is owned by a movie car collector, it is interesting to see how the car was made to simulate true heavy equipment and damage... Painted silicone to simulate welds, rubber/plastic guns on the hood. Got to love the Hollywood effects!
