Ford SYNC 3 Infotainment System Arrives 2016

While design, engine technology, and overall feel
is important to creating cars that will appeal to the masses, infotainment
systems are increasingly taking a front seat. For example,
Ford's MyFord Touch has been a hugely popular addition to
the lineup since it launched in 2010. Now, five years on, they're releasing the
next generation.

Ford's new infotainment option will be called SYNC
3, and switch its backend base from Microsoft to Blackberry functionality. It
will now run even faster than ever, with additional voice recognition commands
and an easy-to-use interface. Ford is going so far as to call it
"intuitive," and if the video below is any indication, we
agree.

SYNC 3 will launch with the 2016 model year
lineup.
